Before we get sign off to start co-creating a solution with our clients and ITA colleagues, our pre-sale steps are critical to shape our thinking, build trust, and lay the foundation for a client experience that is truly fit for purpose.

Discovery & needs assessment
Trust through real, open conversations and curiosity — not interrogation.
This is a critical step to qualify if we’re the right partner. We unpack what’s going on for the client: the goals they care about, the challenges they’re facing, existing (learning) strategies they’ve tried.
We ask bold questions to uncover the deeper drivers of change and reflect the cultural aspirations and performance gaps. Our job is to shape these insights into a clear, shared understanding of “why now” and “what good looks like”.

Seamless handover from Business Development to the Solution project team.
Our briefing docs and comms carry the tone, clarity and care that define the journey so far. We ensure that teams understand the business relationship, expectations, development timeline and budgets agreed.
We celebrate the wins we’ve built together and make sure the stage is set for continued success, measurement, and momentum. From here, our Solution team gets started on delivering against our collaborative design process.

Ways of working
NKD will work closely with ITA during the internal handover process from Business Development to the Solution Team to establish best practice ways of working. We’ll use an internal kick-off to establish great project and team hygiene to make the client experience the best it can be.
From aligning on joint solution project meetings (if our solution sits within a wider ITA program) to what role the ITA sponsor will play across the life of a solution.

Contracting
If an existing Master Services Agreement (MSA) or contract is in place with ITA, we can deliver our solutions under this agreement.
If a new MSA or contract needs to be set-up, we recommend that this is generated by the ITA Legal Team, with input and review from NKD. This allows for future growth of the client's needs and additional ITA solution lines over time.

Scope of work, timelines and budgets
NKD will prepare a detailed scope of work and both a high level and detail design of the deliverables within the solution, timelines and budgets.
Clients will need to approve these before NKD gets started on delivering our solution, even if contracting and billing are held with ITA.

Billing
Billing will take place against the usual ITA and client process. Once a client has approved the SOW and budget, ITA will bill the client. NKD and ITA finance teams will work together on the inter-company transfer to pay NKD for the work undertaken.
NKD usually bill each month for work completed. However, we can work to a billing schedule that suits your client and drawdown against this on completion of monthly activities.
